The Pacific RCOER brought together government officials, key stakeholders, and experts in the region to share policy initiatives and OER practices, and to discuss concerns and issues for mainstreaming OER to support inclusive and equitable quality education.

A total of 23 participants from Australia, Fiji, Kiribati, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga and from international and intergovernmental organisations such as COL, UNESCO and the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat attended the consultation.

In addition to the government and higher educational institutions, there were participants from civil society speaking on behalf of stakeholders, such as school teachers. Among the participants, 11 were female and 12 were male (See Annex 2 for the list of participants).
